JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. - Accidents on both sides of I-70 delayed or stopped traffic at Lookout Mountain Sunday morning.

There was a 12-vehicle crash on westbound I-70 near Lookout Mountain at about 9:30 a.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Eastbound I-70 at Lookout Mountain reopened at noon after closing for multiple accidents, according to CDOT.

There were at least two separate crashes in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 256, according to a tweet from CSP Public Affairs.  According to the tweet, there were no major injuries.

Josh Bibby tweeted a picture of one of the crash scenes to the Denver Channel.

When asked how many vehicles were involved, Bibby tweeted "Looks like 5 or more behind me and another pile-up in front of me. One shuttle van as well. No injuries I've seen."
