Motorcycle exploded; 2 other vehicles damaged

DENVER - An early morning fire caused heavy damage to three units in an historic home on Shoshone Street in Denver Tuesday.

Three vehicles were also damaged -- including a motorcycle that exploded.

The flames started outside the home just before 1:30 a.m., resident Airam Moreno told 7NEWS Reporter Tyler Lopez.

Neighbor Albert Moreno sent this video of the burning home. Mobile users can watch it here: https://www.facebook.com/

Eight people were displaced by the fire.  The Red Cross assisted residents who needed a place to stay.

A restoration crew started boarding up windows just before 5 a.m.

The three-story home was built in 1902, Airam Moreno said.
