DENVER — An early morning fire left a car scorched and burned the interior of an E. Colfax sports bar.
The fire, which closed Shepes for the forseeable future, also closed E. Colfax in both directions while crews battled the blaze.
Several engines rushed to the fire, quickly putting out the flames in an offensive attack, which left smoke billowing from the building.
