One person was rushed to the hospital after a truck went into Clear Creek along Highway 6 Sunday morning.
The call came in around 9:40 a.m., Cpl. Heather Cobler with the Colorado State Patrol said.
The CSP dispatched the swift water rescue team and got the driver of the vehicle out of the water, Cobler said. The driver was the only person in the vehicle.
The driver was transported to the hospital, but there was no information available about the extent of the injuries.
The car that went into the creek was the only one involved in the crash.
Crews are alternating directions of traffic along Highway 6 near mile marker 267 until the truck can be removed from the water.
Investigators say it is unclear if weather was a factor in the accident.
