Van flies off elevated part of I-25

A van flew off an elevated portion of Interstate 25 in Loveland Friday morning and landed nose-down on Crossroads Boulevard.

Sadly, the driver, Timothy Decicco, 48, of Fort Collins, did not survive, an official with Colorado State Patrol said.

Crossroads Boulevard was closed at I-25, according to Loveland Fire Rescue.

Loveland Fire Rescue had to bring in a truck with a winch to pull the van up to the surface road.

The investigation is ongoing
