One woman is hospitalized in critical condition after a five-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in Colorado Springs Thursday morning.
The woman was driving a white 2007 Chevrolet sedan on Academy Boulevard just before 8 a.m., Colorado State Patrol Trooper Josh Lewis confirmed.
The other four drivers involved in the pileup were not hurt, Trooper Lewis said.
A 22-year-old man from California was driving the silver 2000 Honda convertible that got rear-ended. That was the only information Lewis released on the other drivers in the wreck.
There were no signs indicating drug or alcohol use, said Lewis.
It was too early to say whether speeding was a factor.
