DENVER - Denver police have closed East Colfax Avenue at Ulster Street due to an auto/pedestrian hit and run.
Police said they are looking for a white Dodge Challenger with an unknown license plate.
The run vehicle was last seen heading west on Colfax, then north on Tamarac Street.
Police said the male pedestrian was transported to the hospital with injuries, but they did not classify the seriousness of the injuries..
The crash was reported at about 8:30 p.m.
Another crash at about the same time happened on East Colfax Avenue and Galena Street in Aurora.
In that case, a suspected DUI driver was involved in a multi-vehicle crash that injured three people.
Aurora Police said the suspected driver left the scene but returned and was arrested.
