Downtown bank robber tosses loot after holdup

DENVER -
Denver police are looking for a bank robber who hit a downtown bank and then tossed the loot in an alley.
The man, who did not display a weapon, hit the TCR Bank at 640 16th St. at 12:22 p.m. and gave the teller a note that demanded money.
The man, described as black, 6-feet tall and weighing 210 pounds, wearing a black hat, black jacket and black pants with a white stripe, fled in a dark tan or brown Honda Civic. Police said he tossed the money into trash receptacles along an alley between 14th Avenue and Logan Street.
Anyone with information on the robber is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
