GLENDALE, Colo. - The death of a Denver man on the banks of Cherry Creek last week is under investigation as a homicide.
Police were called to the north bank of Cherry Creek just west of South Cherry Creek Street in Glendale on Friday afternoon, after a passerby reported a body in the area.
Police found the body of 55-year-old Henry Cyrell Thomas of Denver.
An autopsy conducted Monday could not determine a cause of death, but the case is being investigated as a homicide, Glendale police said.
"Mr. Thomas was not homeless and has had the same residence for the last six years. Mr. Thomas was known to 'camp out' with some frequency," a statement from Glendale police said.
