DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. - A child who was reported missing Monday morning was found safe a few hours later at a nearby park.
James Thomas, 10, went missing after he was seen walking on Quebec Street at Lincoln Avenue around 9:40 a.m.
Deputies said the were concerned about Thomas because of his health and special needs that they did not explain.
"James has health issues requiring medication that he does not have with him," according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
According to Sergeant Ron Hanavan of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the child was found by a citizen around 1:40 p.m. at a nearby park.
