JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. - Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputies are trying to find what may be a body in a cave at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

A man exploring a cave in the area called deputies Wednesday night and said he found the top half of a body in the cave, according to the Denver Post.

Deputies searched the area with dogs on Thursday morning, but didn't find anything, according to Mark Techmeyer, Jefferson County Sheriff's spokesman.

Techmeyer told 7NEWS deputies planned to meet the caver on Friday morning in hopes that he could lead authorities to the cave where he saw the body.
