BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. - Investigators are trying to determine who set a large pile of flood debris on fire in Boulder County on Friday morning.
Boulder County Sheriff's deputies and Mountain View firefighters were called out to a fire at 1:55 a.m. at N. 107th Street and Dawson Drive.
Deputies said when they arrived, they found a large pile of wood and branches on fire. The debris had come from a recent flood cleanup.
Deputies said they found a 1-gallon jug with an odor of gasoline on the debris pile.
Investigators are asking anyone in the area between midnight and 1:55 a.m. who saw any vehicles or people in that area call the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office at 303-441-4444.
