JOHNSTOWN, Colo. - Deputies arrested a driver on Monday who is accused of flashing a handgun at other drivers on Interstate 25.
A witness called the Weld County Sheriff's Office at 4 p.m. and said the driver of a 2004 gray Toyota Land Cruiser was pointing a handgun at other drivers on southbound I-25 near the Johnstown exit, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies said they stopped and arrested Kamaljit S. Ghuman 17 miles away near Frederick.
One witness told deputies that Ghuman pointed a gun at a woman driving a newer VW bug with Wyoming plates. However, the witness said it appeared the woman was unaware of the incident. Deputies are asking anyone who witnessed the encounter or can help identify the VW driver to call the Weld County Sheriff’s Office at 970-356-4015 ext. 2825.
