Denver Zoo accepting applications for teenage summer volunteer program, Zoo Crew

DENVER – If you’re a Denver-area teenager or the parent of one who is interested in working at the Denver Zoo this summer, the zoo is now accepting applications for its teenage volunteer program.

To apply for the program, Zoo Crew, applicants must be at least 13 years old on the first day of training and must be at oldest a junior in high school as of April 22.

Teenagers accepted in the program will work from June through August at the zoo.

Applications and more information on the requirements for the program can be found here. The window for applying closes March 1.

The zoo says the program is competitive and that there is limited space each year; thus, not every application will be accepted.
