DENVER - Denver's serial groper has struck again, this time grabbing a 13-year-old girl, police said Monday.
The man walked up behind the teen, who was walking near Wesley Avenue and Filmore street around noon Sunday. He groped her and then tried grabbing her, a witness told 7NEWS.
The victim screamed and got away. The man ran to his car and sped away, the witness said.
"It really freaks me out," said the witness, a 10-year-old boy. "I don't know how to describe it."
Another witness said the man's car had its license plate intentionally covered.
Denver police said the man is suspected in six other incidents in the city this year.
In all of the cases, including the attempted kidnapping, the man has been described as being a six feet tall, Hispanic, with a bald head and heavy set build.
The man is thought to be driving a dark-colored sedan of some kind, possibly a Nissan Maxima or Altima.
