DENVER – A study released Wednesday confirms what everyone in Denver already knows: we love our animal companions!
The Mile High City is also ahead of the pack when it comes to pet amenities. The city was ranked by Trulia as the best place for pets to live among 100 metro areas in the country.
The real estate site looked at several factors, including the number of parks, climbing trees for cats and fire hydrants for dogs (and apparently Denver has plenty of those).
Each city was given a score based on the availability of “petmenities” and Denver scored the highest at 89.3, boasting more than two designated dog parks, 3.1 percent open park space and 120 pet amenities.
