Denver Police trying to ID intruder who attacked woman in Kittredge St. home

DENVER - Denver Police are asking the public to help identify an intruder who attacked a woman in her home on Monday night.

Police said the attack happened about 7:45 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Kittredge Street.

A woman told police she heard her front door open and found a man standing in the front entry of her home. She said she recognized the man because he had previously approached her outside her apartment complex and made sexual overtures.

The woman told the man to leave and tried to push him out the door, but he grabbed her harm and she was injured during the struggle, police said. The woman was able to escape from the man and call police.

The suspect is described as a white man who is 6 feet tall, 180 pounds with sandy blond hair and blue eyes.

A reward of up to $2,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and charging of the person responsible for this crime.
