DENVER - Denver police are investigating a shooting in a neighborhood in east Denver.

Officers told 7NEWS a man and a woman were having an argument outside a house in the area of 50^th Avenue and Steele Street when another man opened fire, shooting the man who was in the argument.

The victim was hit in the stomach. Somehow he was driven about six blocks away to the nearby Pilot Travel Center. From there, he was taken to the hospital. Investigators said the man's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Officers did not have any information on a suspect.
