Fingerprints used to identify shooting victim killed near North High School Monday night

DENVER - Fingerprints were used to identify the man shot to death near North High School Monday night.
Officers were called to the 2600 block of West 27th Avenue at 10:53 p.m. on a report of shots fired.
When officers got there, they found a man who had been shot. He was later identified as Jeremy Wilson, 23.
Wilson was taken to the hospital, but died at 11:41 p.m.
The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the pelvis and abdomen. The manner of death is homicide, police said.
