Denver police ID Victor Baltazar as the suspect in Sunday shooting death of Jose Gutierrez-Peredia

DENVER - Denver police say a 39-year-old man is wanted in the weekend shooting death of a man on West Mississippi Avenue.
Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for first-degree murder for Victor Baltazar, who remained at large on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Baltazar is accused of shooting and killing 25-year-old Jose Gutierrez-Peredia about 10:20 p.m. Sunday outside of the Mariposa Apartments, at 1330 W. Mississippi Ave, police said.
Police released a Facebook photo showing Baltzar wearing a black cowboy hat, black-and-white striped shirt, black vest and a tie.

A reward of up to $2,000 is available for information leading to the arrest and charging of the individual responsible for this crime.
