Denver Police, Aurora Police, Adams County Sheriff's Office track, find missing senior citizen

DENVER - Denver Police, Aurora Police and the Adams County Sheriff's Office teamed up Friday to track a missing senior citizen who needed help.

Scanner traffic between officers said the woman called for help because she was in a swampy area and was wet.

Denver Police then used Twitter to ask the public for help looking for the woman and her vehicle, a 2002 tan Nissan Sentra.

After searching reports near Front Range Airport, Buckley Air Force Base and Gun Club Road and Exposition, she was found around 8 a.m. in a field near Front Range Airport.

Denver Police said medical personnel were called in to check her for hypothermia. The woman's family told 7NEWS that she was taken to a local hospital.
