Denver police investigate double homicide early Saturday morning at 5200 Memphis Street

3 arrests made after police locate victim's SUV

DENVER - Denver police found two men dead inside of a condominium early Saturday morning.

Around, 2:30 a.m., officers were called to the Trails at Parkfield Lake Condominium at 5200 block of Memphis Street. Police found two men dead inside of one of the rooms.

Police later said they had been shot.

Denver police tweeted that they do not have any suspects, but that they were looking for a white 2001 Chevy Tahoe that was missing from the residence.

Shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday, police said they had located the missing SUV near Mississippi & Kittredge.

"There were several suspects inside and ran from officers," Denver Police Spokesman Sonny Jackson said. Officers were able to catch all three.  "DPD has located and arrested a 3rd party from the Tahoe. He has been arrested on outstanding warrants," police tweeted at 3:20 p.m.

The names of the victims have not been released.
