DENVER - Denver's District Attorney charged a 55-year-old Denver man in connection with the stabbing death of his wife Wednesday.
Michael Burnette was charged with one count of first-degree murder after deliberation in the death of his wife Rebecca Knox.
According to a DA spokeswoman, Burnette stabbed his wife after the two got into a fight at their home on Oct. 24.
Burnette was arrested shortly thereafter. He is in custody at the Denver Detention Center without bond.
His next court appearance is Nov. 2.
