DENVER - Fliers at Denver International Airport on Friday morning had trouble checking the video screens for their flight information.

Starting around 5:15 a.m., the screens went blank. A small message at the top said, waiting for server.

The screens started coming back up at 6:30 a.m., but it took more than four hours to get all of the screens working again.

Officials told 7NEWS the flight information server that sends the information to the screens went down Friday morning causing the problem.

The server issue only affected the screens at DIA. Flight information was still available online.
