Denver firefighters fight marijuana grow blaze in attached garage

DENVER - Denver firefighters put out a fire at a home in south Denver on Friday afternoon that had a marijuana grow operation.

Firefighters said the fire started in the attached garage in the 2200 block of South Fox Street and crews were checking to see if the fire extended into the home. 

Rows of charred marijuana plants were found inside the garage.

The first call came in just after 1:30 Friday afternoon.  There were no injuries as a result of the blaze.
