Beth Ferrier is one of more than 50 women who have come forward claiming actor Bill Cosby drugged and raped them.
"Most of us, the 58 of us, are crying today - are sad today, are still afraid to talk today," said Ferrier.
Ferrier lives in Colorado and said she learned Cosby had been charged with felony sexual assault in another case in Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning.
At first, she said she couldn't believe it.
"I could not imagine that this day would finally come," said Ferrier. "Over the top, started crying uncontrollably - shaking, back flips, front flips."
A former model, Ferrier said she first met Cosby through her agent more than thirty years ago. They began a consensual affair that she said lasted several months. She said she broke it off, and then Cosby invited Ferrier to his show at a Denver nightclub.

"He offered me a cappuccino and I woke up six, seven hours later in the back of my car behind the Turn of the Century - dumped in the back of the car with my clothes all off," Ferrier further explained.
Ferrier has not filed a complaint against Cosby because the statute of limitations expired in her case several years ago.
In Colorado, the statute of limitations for rape charges is 10 years.
Ferrier said she spent several months contacting state lawmakers to try and get the decade limit abolished and Rep. Rhonda Fields has now drafted legislation to change the law.
"In January we're hoping that the house will pass the statute of limitations to abolish it for the state of Colorado," said Ferrier.
If the bill passes, it will not impact Ferrier's case but could help future women.
“They told me their stor(ies) about how they were raped by Bill Cosby,” said Fields. “I was moved by their stories and I want justice for future victims."
Fields points out there is no statute of limitations for other major crimes like murder.
"Forgery - no statute. Arson - no statute. Kidnapping - no statute. So why should we have a deadline for rape victims?" Fields said. "We should learn how to believe women."
Ferrier also has a message for all the people who never believed her story.
"Believe when a child or person tells you that they've been sexually assault, don't - do not, not believe them," she said.
