Denver Broncos training camp begins today at Dove Valley

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Denver Broncos training camp begins today at Dove Valley.

Camp begins just one day after the huge news that owner Pat Bowlen is giving up control of the team as he battles Alzheimer's disease.

The team will practice from 8:50-11:30 a.m. and then return for a walkthrough at 5:30 p.m.

Head coach John Fox said expectations for the revamped defense are high.

The team added three new players: Safety T.J. Ward, defensive end DeMarcus Ware and cornerback Aqib Talib.

Due to construction the only 3 practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High will be open to the public.

Practices at Sports Authority Field at Mile High include the team's annual Summer Scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 2, at 11 a.m.
