Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman faces jail time over multiple traffic citations

May miss practice next week for court date

DENVER - Ronnie Hillman, a Denver Broncos running back, has been cited for multiple traffic infractions and may have to miss at least a portion of practice next week for a court date.

Hillman, 22, was pulled over Nov. 23 in Arapahoe County for expired license plate tags and for driving while under restraint, which is a misdemeanor, according to court records.

Despite it being a misdemeanor, a driving while under restraint conviction is punishable by as much as six months in prison, according to Colorado statutes.

Hillman's arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 10:30 a.m., according to records.

It is unclear why Hillman's license was suspended.
