ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning paid tribute to a long-time Broncos fan last week and his family is very appreciate.
During practice, Manning wore a white hand towel. But the towel had something different on it -- the name Chris Crowson.
According to the Mile High Report, Crowson was a Broncos fan who died away unexpectedly in June due to complications from surgery.
Crowson's uncle wrote Manning about Chris' love of the Broncos and his respect for Manning.
Manning sent the family the towel, a photo from practice where Manning wore the towel and an autograph.
"This has actually given us another very, very fond memory to look back on," Chris' father Dan said. "That makes it easier to deal with the loss when you have lots of good things to focus on."
