DENVER - The lockdown of an elementary school in Denver has been lifted.

Stephen Knight Center for Early Education in Denver was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon after a bank robbery nearby.

Police said the Chase Bank near East Exposition Avenue and South Colorado Boulevard was robbed by two men at about 2:45 p.m.   The men were seen leaving in a van that was found abandoned a short time later.

Police are looking for two black males who were wearing dark masks during the robbery.

The school is located at 3245 E. Exposition Ave.  The lockdown was lifted after more than two hours.
