DENVER — A fire broke out at Denver hotel early Monday morning, sending guests running for the exits. One person was injured.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Staybridge Suites, located at 6951 Tower Road.

Firefighters say the fire started in a room on the fourth floor. One person went to the hospital after breathing in smoke, but no one else was injured.

Hotel officials say there’s extensive water damage in parts of the hotel and dozens of guests are going to have to be relocated.
