Cyclist hit on Bannock in Denver; Witness helps police find suspected hit-and-run driver

DENVER - A witness to a hit-and-run helped police find the suspected driver Wednesday morning.

Denver Police said a driver was traveling southbound on Bannock Street near 12th Avenue when they tried to pass another vehicle on the right at a stop light.

The driver hit a bicyclist and drove away, police said.

Officers said a witness followed the hit-and-run vehicle and helped police find the driver about four blocks away.

Denver Police said the cyclist was injured, but they did not have any other details.
