Homeless man arrested after alleged sex assault on library employee

BOULDER, Colo. – Police on the University of Colorado Boulder campus arrested a 23-year-old homeless man Thursday after accusations he sexually assaulted a female library employee.

Police allege Lamin Njie assaulted the victim on the third level of the Norlin Library on the CU Boulder Campus.

Campus police issued an alert following the alleged incident and caught up with Njie just hours after he was seen fleeing the library.

Police say the suspect and victim know each other, but the exact nature of the relationship is not known.

Nijie has an extensive criminal history, which includes charges of theft, trespassing, forgery and resisting arrest.
