Crime Stoppers trying to identify armed men who tried to burglarize home

DENVER - Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help to identify three armed men who tried to break into a home late Sunday night.

Surveillance cameras captured an image of two men of the men, one armed with a long gun and one armed with a hand gun.

Police said the men tried to get into a home near 54th and Peoria at 11:45 p.m.

Investigators said while the men were breaking in, one of them fired a shot.

No one was hurt.

The gunmen got away in a dark sedan, police said.

The suspects are described as:

- 1. A Black or Hispanic man, 5’09”, 200 lbs., stocky build with a goatee.

- 2. A Black or Hispanic man, 5’08”, 160 lbs., with a mustache and goatee.

- 3. Unknown man, 5’10”, 160 lbs., wearing a bandana.
