Crashes close northbound I-25 north of Denver, cause major traffic delays Tuesday morning

Two crashes on northbound Interstate 25 are causing major traffic delays during the morning commute from NorthGlenn to Denver.

Northbound I-25 was closed at 112th Ave., but reopened at about 6:20 a.m.

The left three lanes blocked of the highway were blocked at 104th Ave. due to a separate crash, the Colorado Department of Transportation tweeted at 5:40 a.m.

That crash was also cleared by about 6:20 a.m.

The jam remained from 84th Ave., said 7NEWS Traffic Anchor Jayson Luber.

CDOT is advising drivers to take 88th Ave. to Washington as an alternate route.
