DENVER - At least one person was seriously injured in a series of crashes Tuesday morning on major highways in the metro area.
When the snow stopped and the roads began to drive up, there were three major accidents between 11 a.m. and noon on eastbound Interstate 70 near I-225, on eastbound U.S. 36 at Federal and on northbound I-25 at 121st.
Thornton Police said at least three vehicles were involved in the crash on I-25 and at least one person was seriously injured.
A 7NEWS photographer said the I-70 crash involved a truck and a cab. A viewer told 7NEWS the truck ended up on the median.
