2 crashes on westbound Highway 36 slowed traffic during the Wednesday morning commute

SUPERIOR, Colo. - Westbound Highway 36 was shut down temporarily after two crashes Wednesday morning.

Two cars and a truck crashed near McCaslin Blvd. at about 7 a.m., causing significant delays.

There was a second crash in the traffic jam on westbound 36 at Federal Blvd at about 8:10 a.m.

Delays were expected to continue throughout the morning, said 7NEWS Traffic Anchor Jayson Luber.

So far, no serious injuries have been reported from either crash.
