Coroner IDs victims in 7-vehicle DUI crash that killed 3 in Arvada

ARVADA, Colo. – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the three victims killed in a seven-vehicle crash caused by a suspected drunk driver in Arvada Sunday night.

Lorie Hicks, 59; Judith Peterson, 73; and Alan Peterson, 79, were killed in the crash near 6100 Ward Roadjust after 6 p.m. 

Police say a fourth victim suffered life-threatening injuries, but that person has yet to be identified.

A total of seven vehicles were involved: Six cars and a motorcycle. It’s not clear which vehicles are connected to the victims.

Police suspect alcohol was involved, but no arrests have been made.

Arvada Police have not released much details surrounding the crash. It remains under investigation, and Denver7 expects to receive updates in the coming days.
