Coroner ID's motorcyclist, Aaron Dixon, killed after running red light, hitting RTD bus in Arvada

ARVADA, Colo. - Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who died after running a red light and hitting an RTD bus as a 47-year-old Lakewood man.
The Jefferson County Coroner on Wednesday identified the victim as Aaron Dixon.
Police said Dixon was killed after he collided with the bus about 5:30 a.m. Monday at Wadsworth Boulevard and 53rd Avenue.
Arvada Police spokeswoman Jill McGranahan said the motorcyclist was driving north on Wadsworth Boulevard when he ran the red light and hit the side of the RTD bus, which was traveling east on 53rd Avenue. The bus had the green light, she said.
Dixon died at the scene.
