AURORA, Colo. – The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who died after being stabbed at a home in Aurora last week.
David Payne, 34, was found at a home in the 13000 block of East 13th Avenue around 8 a.m. Friday. Police said Payne had multiple stab wounds. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
The coroner said Payne died from a stab wound to the chest.
The stabbing suspect was located on an RTD bus shortly after noon and taken into custody without incident, police said. Officers have not identified the suspect.
