BOULDER, Colo. - Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler is investigating complaints of possible irregularities in Boulder County during the November election.
Gessler said Wednesday he has not accepted the county's election results and he continues to investigate concerns from members of the canvass board after the board refused to sign off on the ballots. Gessler says he will probably accept the results if they would not change the outcome of the election.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera, board members cited concerns about the signature verification process and they worry thousands of ballots may have been improperly accepted or rejected. A minority of board members said the complaints are partisan.
