Colorado Springs woman accidentally fires gun, hits neighbor's TV

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A Colorado Springs woman was cited for a misdemeanor after police said she accidentally fired a handgun through the floor of her apartment.
Officers were called to the Woodland Hills Apartments just after 9 p.m. Saturday on a report of gunfire.
Police found a hole in the victim's ceiling and a TV that appeared to have been hit by a bullet, reported the Gazette.
Officers checked upstairs and found Amy Walter, 25, had accidentally fired a pistol at the floor, police said.
Walter was cited for a firearms-related misdemeanor.
