Twas the week before Christmas, when all through the shelter, not a creature was stirring – because they all got adopted!
The dog kennels at the Pike Peak Shelter in Colorado Springs sits empty this holiday season. The Humane Society shelter adopted out all of its available 23 dogs during a holiday promotion. The shelter also adopted out 23 cats during the same time.
Staff at the shelter celebrated the successful adoptions by sharing the following Facebook video:
The shelter said it will have more dogs available to adopt.
