Colorado Springs Police: Teens went on robbery spree before shooting death

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three teens were arrested in connection to series of armed robberies that culminated in the shooting death of a shopkeeper in Colorado Springs.

Members of SWAT picked up Dustin Logan, 19, Phinehas Daniels, 18, and a third juvenile male during search warrant raid at a Colorado Springs home Thursday.

Police say the three armed suspects went on robbery spree beginning in mid January, hitting several convenience stores and a liquor store.

The suspects are accused of shooting and killing the owner of Empire Wine and Liquor, Donat Herr, during a robbery at the business Feb. 15.

The suspects are facing several charges including first-degree murder. Police anticipate more arrests in connection to the investigation.
