Colorado Springs police investigate shooting that killed Devante Hill, early Saturday morning

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police are looking for the person that shot a man to death early Saturday morning.

Devante Hill, 20, was rushed to the hospital after suffering gunshot wounds. Hill died 20 minutes later.

Officers found Hill after they responded to a shooting in the area of 2800 Airport Road in Colorado Springs around 2:16 a.m., according to Colorado Springs police spokesman Larry H. Herbert.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has completed the autopsy and determined the cause of death was a gunshot wound and the manner of death was a homicide.

Police have not released a description of the suspect.
