COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A man was found dead in an apartment after employees at the complex interrupted an attempted burglary, police said.

A Colorado Springs man was found dead in an apartment after complex employees interrupted an alleged attempted burglary Friday.

Police said that complex employees interrupted Isaiah Jackson, 21, after he broke into a Colorado Springs apartment. A man in his 30s was found dead from apparent blunt force trauma inside the apartment.

Officers arrived at the scene at 9 a.m. and took Jackson into custody.

Police are investigating the incident.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday afternoon to determine the victim's identity and the cause and manner of death.
