COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A Colorado Springs driver allegedly attempted to run over another man with his car because the victim insulted the driver on the radio, police say.
Earl Price allegedly threatened to kill the victim on the 300 block of E. Platte Ave. Saturday around 6:30 p.m. Price then got into his car and tried to run over the victim multiple times, driving over curbs and sidewalks as the victim ran away on foot, Colorado Springs police said.
Investigators said Price believed the victim had insulted him on the radio in February 2012.
When police arrived, they saw Price driving and were able to detain him.
Price was arrested and taken to the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on charges of attempted first-degree homicide.
Police have not released any further details about the incident.
