Colorado requests to add 12 counties to FEMA Emergency Declaration

The State of Colorado has requested that 12 additional counties be added to the FEMA Emergency Declaration related to the September floods.
President Obama issued a major disaster declaration for the State of Colorado on September 14, triggering the release of federal funds to help individuals and communities in Boulder, El Paso and Larimer counties.
The additional counties include:
- Adams County
- Arapahoe County
- Broomfield County
- Clear Creek County
- Denver County
- Fremont County
- Jefferson County
- Logan County
- Morgan County
- Pueblo County
- Washington County
- Weld County
Federal funds will be made available for individual assistance, public assistance and disaster mitigation related to the storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides that have continues since September 11.
