New numbers released Monday show Colorado dispensaries sold more than $1 billion in marijuana in just the first 10 months of the year. That is a milestone for the industry.
The taxes collected from retail pot sales through October totaled $151.4 million.
Denver7 partner the Denver Post reportsthat 2016 pot tax totals could surpass taxes from 2014 and 2015 combined.
Last year, Colorado marijuana businesses sold more than $996 million in pot products.
