Colorado will receive more than $1.1 million in a settlement with Pfizer Inc. over its marketing of the drugs Zyvox and Lyrica.
Attorney General John Suthers said that Colorado's share is part of a $42.9 million settlement between Pfizer and 32 states and the District of Columbia.
The states claimed that Pfizer used deceptive practices in marketing Zyvox, an antibacterial agent, and Lyrica, which is used to treat fibromyalgia.
Pfizer acknowledged no wrongdoing but said it will change how it markets Zyvox and Lyrica.
Suthers said Colorado's proceeds will be used for consumer protection efforts.
